Promotores

Currently we have 11 Promotores who are residents of our properties. Selected as potential peer leaders, they receive special training, attend weekly meetings and make 40 home visits annually in their communities to provide outreach, referrals and resources to families. They also conduct the door-to-door resident surveys each year. Promotores currently are active at Montebello, Elm Park, Cornelius Park, Reedville, Jose Arciga. If funding permits, we will add five new Promotores at Sunset Gardens, Sierra West and Willow Park this fall.

Resident Services

Resident meetings are held twice a year at each property. We host holiday parties in December and general resident meetings in the spring. Additional special programs and presentations are offered to residents during the year by staff, Promotores and guest speakers. A survey of all residents is conducted every 2 years, and the topics are geared to the needs/wants of our residents.
