¡Listos!
¡Listos! is a program funded with Workforce Investment Act dollars through Worksystems, Inc. to improve the futures of youth, specifically in the Forest Grove School District. The program is open to all legal residents, ages 16-21, who come from low income households. Though the program has a decidedly Latino focus, it is open to students of all ethnicities.

Preparation for the GED Test
¡Listos! pays all student costs associated with attaining a GED, including books, instruction, and testing fees. The program also provides incentives for improved scores, good attendance, and meeting personal goals.
Work Readiness Training
For students interested in improving their marketability as employees, ¡Listos! offers Work Readiness Training classes to prepare them for employment. Classes cover customer service, punctuality, dress, conduct; as well as those topics that help get the job, such as resume writing and interviewing. Optional computer literacy instruction and professional mentors are available.
Paid Work Experience
Graduates of Work Readiness Training qualify for paid work experiences. These are paid opportunities to develop career skills and build up experience when it is lacking. ¡Listos! pays the students' wages when employers agree to employ, train and supervise.
College
For motivated students, ¡Listos! staff also provide assistance in filling out financial aid forms, going on campus tours, and selecting the college they are interested in attending. From there, staff help with the application and scholarship process.
Casework
Some students require extra attention just to arrive at a situation in which they can be successful. Some need food stamps, health insurance, glasses, identification, or other things to help them with daily life before they can begin to focus on their future. ¡Listos! students each receive help with paperwork, agency referrals, guidance counseling, and whatever other assistance is necessary to stabilize their lives.
