HDC welcomes new Executive Director

HDC is pleased to announce the addition of Sunset, Sierra and Willow Park apartments, which allows us to welcome low income families.


Since 1981, Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has provided safe, affordable housing and a continuum of care including resident and community services to farmworkers and other low income families in Washington county.

HDC owns 10 apartment complexes; Elm Park I and II, Cornelius Park, Reedville, Jose Arciga, Montebello, Sycamore View, Sunset Gardens, Sierra West, and Willow Park, apartments that provide 456 families vibrant communities with tot lots, community centers, laundry, and other public space..

In 2007 we will be adding high speed internet service to the community centers and residents' apartments in 3 of our locations.

Sycamore View in Scappoose provides 22 farmworker families with much needed affordable housing in Columbia County.

The Listos! Program for low income youth in Forest Grove provides workforce education, training, GED completion, and job seeker assistance.

Our Promotores outreach program provides residents with training for performing peer to peer outreach in the areas of health care, education, employment and housing.

Your help, innovative public-private partnerships, local community support allow HDC to deliver much needed affordable housing and services.
